system get BCCode error then blue screen

Hi all i new to this but here is my problem:
my computer gets the following error BCCode: 100000ea BCP1: 854E8970
BCP2: 85730500 BCP3: F7B27CB4 BCP4: 00000001 OS Version:
5_1_2600 Service Pack: 2_0 Product: 768_1
then short time later gets the blue screen
then when the lap top starts again my screen looks completely dark (computer
on but screen is off) the only way i can get the screen to come back on is
to re seat the hard drive.. can anyone explain the error code? thanks

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties. Hardware,
Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

What is your computer make and model. What version is your Windows
XP CD? Does it incorporate SP2?

What is the make and model of your motherboard?

Tip: To copy select Report, Quick Report, Plain Text, highlight

I was able to get my toshiba m55 -s1001 up long enough to check hardware
manager but there were no errors.. i am running xp service pack 2 being that
it is a laptop i was unable to get under the keyboard to see the mother board
but is has a celeron m chip.. the laptop display just went out again and i'm
having a tough time getting it boot up. any help would be great...

The name of your error is THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER
The following comments are from MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP
errors at http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm:

"A device driver problem has caused the system to pause indefinitely
(hang). Typically, this is caused by a display driver waiting for the
video hardware to enter an idle state. This might indicate a hardware
problem with the video adapter, or a faulty video driver."

Check with the laptop manufacturer's web site for any updated video
drivers for your specific laptop model and try installing these.
