Sysprep overwrites default profile I created

Gerard

After building an image and setting up a default user profile
containing our requirements I have sysprepped the image. Unfortunately
at some point during the sysprep the default user profile is
overwritten by the standard Windows Default User Profile, also it will
not log onto the domain during the first boot after sysprepping. Help.

Gerard,

I am seeing the exact same issue. Almost all changes made to Default User
are wiped out when Sysprep is run on an XP SP2 machine. This occurs even with
the new Sysprep that is specific to SP2. If you hear of anything that might
resolve this problem, please let me know.

There is a hotfix for this. See KB887816
