Synchronizing Offline Files

I have a laptop that refuses to synchronize a folder on the network. I've
tried recreating the network folder, I've tried removing the drive mapping
and recreating it. I've taken it off of the domain and re-added it all with
no luck. The error states that the system is running with the last known good
configuration. I have no idea what it means or how to resolve it to get
offline synchronization to work. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

Thanks,
FR

Is anyone else having similar problems?
Can this laptop synchronize any offline files?
Event logs give you any useful errors?

OT: I think offline files is a huge PITA and prefer www.centered.com -
SecondCopy 2000. It's inexpensive and I install it on all my clients'
laptops.
