synchronize windows xp clock

I can not update my clock, i receibe this message,
"an error occured while Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com. The
time sample was rejected becasue: The peer's stratum is less than the host's
stratum.

I've got similar problems. In intranet, only http proxy is provided, how can
I synchronize system's time?

I found the problem synchronize with the other server "time.nist.gov", and your problem is fix.

I solved the problem by going to another time server: tick.usnogps.navy.mil.

courtney sends....
