Synch error - file name to long?

Get following error message when trying to sync my Ipaq with a database on
my pc



A synchronization partnership cannot be created because the source database
name is too long. Choose OK to copy the databas without synchronizing it or
choose Cancel to end this operation, rename your source databas, and try
again later.



So how long can the name be.



I was using the file name RdRecruit06.mdb
 
You'll stand a much better chance of getting an answer if you ask this in
microsoft.public.pocketpc or microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync
