Symantec back up problem

I am using Symantec Backup exec 10d for Windows Server 2000. When I try
to backup it pops up an error message saying:

"The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while
connecting to the Backup Exec for windows servers remote agent"
From web search I found the following link:

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/277355.htm

It says:
"When a server has been removed from the network but not removed from
the backup selections list, Backup Exec (tm) will still attempt to
attach to the unavailable server during a backup.

Manual removal of the server from the Backup Exec selection list is
required.

Before Server B was removed from the network, the server could be seen
in the graphical Backup Exec Selection List (Figure 3)."

However, this does not apply to my case. I have not removed any server
from the network. Can someone please tell me a fix for this?

Thanks

I fixed the problem by restarting the BackupExec on one of the
networked machines.
It seems the link I posted does not say "restart the BackupExec's on
the networked machines."
