Sygate Personal Firewall Pro terminated

Someone hacked me- gained Adminutrstive control and terminated my Sygate
Personal Firewall Pro : Here is the problem:
"Exception Privileged instruction (oxc0000096 ) occurred in the
application at location ( 0x00c54914 ). Click OK to terminate. Click Cancel
to Debug."

Debug does not work. What kind of Microsoft Support can resolve this
problem so I can get the Firewall started and see my firewall log file? All
the above quotes deal with the Windows XP OS with SP2.
Thanks for any sugestions,

I don't know where to get Sygate support except possibly from Symantec
itself. I would install a currently supported program or just enable Windows
XP sp2 firewall. Try this link :
http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Home-Home-Office/ . Check your
anti-virus application to ensure that it is working properly. I am sorry to
hear you were attacked.

Thanks, Allan. This does not answer the question. If you read the problem
statement you would realize that this is not a Symantec support problem.
I need to know locations in Windows XP SP2. It is a Windows XP SP2 support
problem and I want to know where in Microsoft to find proper support.
I know I can pay them $225 for one problem but will the people who respond
know anything more than I do and I know a lot.

I've reread your original post, and it certainly looks like a Symantec support
problem to me. Perhaps it would help if you told us exactly what it is that you
want to know? "Locations in Windows XP SP2" is a bit too vague for us to offer
any useful advice.

... actually I can take one guess as to your meaning. If I've guessed
incorrectly, please post again stating your question more explicitly. By
"locations" are you referring to the location given in the following error
message from your original post?
"Exception Privileged instruction (oxc0000096 ) occurred in the application at location ( 0x00c54914 ).

If so, you really do want Symantec support. The location (0x00c54914) is an
address in the crashed application's address space; assuming that the
application that is crashing is Sygate, Symantec are the only people who might
be able to get any useful information out of this message.

Harry.
