Switching Users

When I attempt to Log off with Switch Users my computer won't let me. This has happened all of the sudden, switching users has always worked for us in the past .
When we click Switch Users, the box that says to click Switch Users or Log Off goes away and nothing happeneds.I have tried many things but it wil not Switch Users. MAybe you can help.

maybe u should wait because it's very slow sometimes. when I shut xp it doesn't work for some time (about 5 or more minutes), but shut then. so maybe u r facing a similar problem
