Swapping XP Pro and Home on 2 pc's

Hi,

I have upgraded 2 pc's, one with XP Home and the other with Pro. Both were
retail uprgades and have SP2. I'd like to swap the installs though so the Xp
Home pc runs XP Pro.

Can I do this and re-activate the OS? I know the pc with Pro will need a
clean install. Ideally, I'd like to upgrade the XP Home pc first.

Derek,

Yes, what you propose is legal and practical. As you stated, the XP Pro
machine will need to be done as a "clean install" of XP Home.

If you can't activate over the internet, make the 5 minute toll-free call
and explain what you did and they will give you new activation codes.
