Swap File Issue

I'm moving from a 30 GB to an 80 GB drive. After partitioning and
formatting as NTFS I used Maxtor's utility to copy the C: partition to the
new drive. When I booted from the new C: I got an error message on logging
in that said my swap file was either too small or missing and giving me the
directions for setting it. HOWEVER, when I click on OK I get a blue screen
(blank not the BSOD) and eventually (several minutes) later I was dumped
back to the logon dialog box.

Tried booting in Safe Mode - same thing. Then I remembered something about
the pagefile not being good even when you do a partition copy SOOO I
rebooted from the old drive and deleted the pagefile.sys from the new system
drive. After shutting down and rebooting from the new drive NOTHING had
changed - same error message and same response.

So what do I have to do to get the new drive to boot properly?

Sounds like it might be the issue. When I did the partition copy the old
drive was C: and the new drive was F: but before I booted from the new one I
reset the drive to Master and pulled the old drive thus the new drive became
C: and the old drive was nowhere to be seen.

As I remember it I did this last time with DriveCopy - maybe it autofixed it
for me???

Or it could be a permissions problem.
