SVCHOST / system cannot find TaskList

Hi!

I want to know why SVCHOST is attempting to connect to
internet and from several sources I got the answer that I
should use the Cmd-line program TASKLIST. But my computer
does not recognise this as a command or program. Why don't
I have TASKLIST? Is there an altenativ program? I checked
standing in the Windows and Windows\System32 directories,
but it was not recognised anyway (btw that would have been
strange since these dirs are included in the PATH variable)
How can I find TASKLIST or an equivalent?

Tasklist does not come with XP Home.

Tasklist.exe available here;
http://www.computerhope.com/download/winxp.htm

Copy it to C:\WINDOWS\system32

Start | Run | type: cmd |
When Command opens;
tasklist /svc | ENTER

Also:
tasklist /?
