SUS

I have installed SUS on a WIN2k Server. Created a group
policy with the wuau.adm template. I have approved the
updates and sync the server but the WIN2k/sp3 clients are
not contacting the Server.

Have u set up where the clients are pulling the patches from in group policy. Try on one of the clients going to regedit HKEY_Local_machine\Software\microsoft\windows\current version\windows update\auto update and delete the lastwaittimeout value. then go to services in computer management and stop and restart the automatic updates service then go back to the registry key and see what the timeout value is shortly after this time that is displayed the auto update should be ready to be installed.

I tried the registry fix and still no results. I found a
script called aubehave and it indicates that the seetings
for our server are correct. It also states au pending. If
I go to the update log there is no entry where the client
tried to contact or Server.
