SUS Server Lockout

I've installed Microsoft Software Update Service on a test
service. It works great for deploying critical updates to
clients on a mass roll-out basis.

BUT... now I can't get to it and it can't get to anywhere
else.

for example START RUN \\10.1.1.35\c$ comes up with

"The Network Path Was Not Found"

I'm pretty sure that some sort of security policy is at
work, but I sure as hell can't find the setting.

Any Ideas?
