SUS Client Install

When I try to install the SUS Client piece (WUAU22.MSI),
I keep getting the message "Microsoft Windows Update Auto
Update requires Windows 2000 SP2 or Windows XP".

However, ALL of my machines run Windows 2000 sp3 or XP.
Where and what am I doing wrong?

Just found the answer to this one myself in the SUS FAQ
page at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/sus/susfaq.asp.
There's a section there with a heading of Client
Information. The first question is the one.

Basically, the text of the message is wrong. What it
should say is that beginning with Windows 2000 SP3 and
Windows XP SP1, the Automatic Updates component has
already been included. (It's also already in Windows
Server 2003)

In other words, you don't need to download or install the
client MSI (wuau22*.msi)
