WUAU22.MSI File Not Installing on Client Computers

I am setting up CUS to work with my SUS. I am attempting
to perform a standalone instalation onto a Windows XP
Professional computer. When trying to install the
WUAU22.MSI file i recieve an error of:

"Microsoft Windows Update Auto Update requires Windows
2000 SP2 or Windows XP."

Has anyone else received this error and have you found a
workaround to installing CUS as a standalone with out this
file?

That error would result if you already have the AutoUpdate client installed,
such as Windows XP - Service Pack 1.
