No way...these newsgroups have numerous folks who are very up on
XP......even tell you have to get by a password.....

FYI Jack. This newsgroup is not MS support. It is really peer to peer
support. At that, I would like to say thank you to all the MVP's who come
here by their own volition and help those of us who are less knowledgeable
than they.

The Microsoft support system is extremely wide and has many options
available.
Your vague generality is the problem here.
If you post specifics, someone will probably show you a way.

Well... I don't know if the ladies and gents here are paid or not, but I
think the help is GREAT! I don't always understand everything and they have
patience and have seen me thorough. I never called MS by phone so can't
say......

Can't say. The very few times I've had to call Microsoft, I've
been satisfied with the service. But it _has_ been years since the
need's arisen, so things might have changed.

Do you have any specific problem(s) that you need help with, or
are you just venting?
