subwebs

If I create subwebs do I have to create a new index for
each one; or does it not matter? Can I use the naviation
from my main site?

When I host my site; how will the subwebs appear? & do I
have to make sure the hosting offers subwebs? does that
usually cost more? Thank you.

Each subweb can have its own Index.htm page or not. Your
choice. If you want to name it something else that is
your choice. If you name it something other than Index
(or whatever is the default page for you provider), the
web visitor will have to include it in the web address.

No, subwebs carry their own themes, navigation, etc.

If you site is accessed as "www.YourSite.Com" your subweb
would be accessed by visitors
as "www.YourSite.Com/Subweb". This of course assumes you
use the default page name (Index or whatever) of your
provider.
& do I have to make sure the hosting offers subwebs? Yes

does that usually cost more? Thank you.

Mine does not but check with your provider.
