Quickly Add User to Multiple Subwebs

Hi,

I have approximately 30+ subwebs in my organization, each with their
own specific set of authors/moderators etc.

Some of them even have subwebs within subwebs, using unique
permissions.

I need to add an additional user to each subweb (including the subwebs
within subwebs).

Obviously I could add the user to the top level subwebs, but since the
subwebs within subwebs aren't using parent permissions, the new user
won't propagate down.

Is there a way through the "Security & Permissions" tab on the actual
folders themselves on the server to add a user? (will this over ride
the unique users in place for each subweb?)

anyone had any experience with this?

Do you have a "group" assigned to all subwebs that you could add this user too?

Every subweb has three levels of power each user can have: admin,
designer, user.
However, every subweb has been creating it's own group on the server.
It's very strange....so if there's 60 subwebs, there are essentially
60 different admin, designer, and user groups....

You can still assign another group that then has access to all webs / subwebs.
