stuttering

I had to reinstall everything on my computer as the harddrive crashed. Now
when I am online playing a MMO Game the computer really slows down--music
starts to stutter, my mouse controls and character movement jerk. Its like
my processors or maybe memmory isn't able to keep up. I am at a loss. Any
suggestions would be much appreciated.

Start with installing the pending "Automatic updates". This will make your
system have the most recent system files and any known issues with the OS
resolved.

Secondly make sure you have the latest drivers from your system. Also ensure
you have the most recent BIOS update also installed.

If the system performance is slow all the time and not just while playing
the game, I would recommend running a full system scan using a fully updated
antivirus.
