stuck undeletable outgoing e-mail

I can't thank the wonderful knowledgable folks on this forum enough for
mentioning the website with the fix for this problem. After spending hours
with four different support techs who could not resolve the issue, I
downloaded the WMUtil website and after following the instructions, the
problem was fixed. The stuck and undeletable e-mail in my outbox was gone
and I have been able to send e-mail out without any problem ! Thank you all
for your help !

WMUtil is an extremely useful utility and one that I recommend. Microsoft
are aware of the problem with 'mail stuck in the out box'
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090/en-us and there is actually a fix but
you have to contact Microsoft support to get it. One can only assume that
they are keeping it for SP1.
