stuck outgoing mail

Dear anyone,
we recently set up our windows mail account having
accessed mail via a website. All seemed well and WM transferred all our
inbox from the website - several times for each message, and thy're still
coming through.
I wrote 4 e-mails recently and filed to send later. Two have been sent, but
the other two remain stuck in the out box. If I try to send them they seem
to go according to the out box which appears and says they're going.
Evidently they are not going as recipients have not received them. Any ideas
what is happening with the duplicated inbox mail and the two outgoing ones
not going? Nothing seems to be shifting these two.

Go to Tools, Accounts, and make sure you don't have a duplicate account.

Are the same messages being downloaded each time you connect?
If so, there is a 'stuck' email on the server.

Are the sent messages filing a copy in the Sent Items folder? If so,
the message was successfully sent.
