Strange Router problem

I have dlink di-524 router that had been working fine until the last
2 week. What happens off and on is that when I click on a url or
hyperlink I get the message saying cannot find server etc... if I
click on it again, the page opens fine. Also if I plug direct into
the cable modem instead of through the router everything is ok. I
don't know what to do or what the problme might be. I've reset the
router to factory default and installed the newest firmware but
nothing has worked. It's getting rather annoying.
 
Have you considered the possibility that the router is failing?
