Hi all,

wondering if anyone has came across this before. I have a server
running an ADSL net connection with 2 computers accessing the net
through it. All 3 are XP. Last week or so my wife started having
problems accessing many sites. As an experiment she tried the same
site with Netscape and Opera - none of then worked either. My
computer continues to be able to access them all fine.

I have Zone alarm running on the server but even with this disabled
the problem remains. She has downloaded/installed the newest version
of I.E and we have been through all the settings to confirm we are
both set up the same.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

See "Nothing of interest here" response above. Might be

Hey there dude, well u might find that if u have xp
installed that ur server pc right, well it's network
properties might have been set up so ur server pc can
access the network etc but ur clients can't. I can guide
u through and see if this is so, if not then we can try
and work some thing out etc via e-mail.

Now first click on Start, Settings, Network Connections.
From there u will see ur LAN (Local Area Connection) icon
there, left click on it and then click on Properties
then there's 3 tabs there, General, Authentication and
Advanced, click on Advanced then there is stuff in there
saying "Internet Connection Firewall" if that is enabled,
disable it, now it will not affect the fire wall u have
setup on the internet.

Ok give that a try if no go then if u like e-mail me.
