Strange Lines across screen all the time

a few weeks ago i noticed when i booted my computer there were three thin
purple lines running from the top of the screen to the bottom. they run on
top of any window i open, or any program i run. since then about 10 new lines
have shown up. i dont know how to get ris of them. if anyone has any ideas
please reply!! thanks

To determine whether this is a computer fault or a screen fault, try your
computer on another screen. If the lines appear on another screen then you
have a faulty screen.

Unfortunately, this likely means that the display is failing. Most laptops
have a connector for an external monitor so you can try that, but you may
have to consider taking the laptop to a service depot. Check the warranty
status.
