strange folder

System is Windows XP home sp 2.
Some time ago a folder was created on the C drive somehow. The folder name
consists of numbers and letters such as 8d8cd39cf...... It consists of
folders named adp, bcm, equifax, fam, kb922981, loader, paypal, sba. There
are some application files such as dotnetfx.exe, fxamd64.exe, fxia64.exe.
Other files are iistallhook.dll, setup.exe, wizard.exe. The readme file is
titled "Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager and
Microsoft Office Accounting 2007". If this all relates to Microsoft Office
2007 can I delete the main folder named with the random numbers and letters,
since I don't have office 2007? I use Office 2003 but installed 2007 as a
trial at one time. Since I don't know what created the folder I am posting
on Windows XP.

Go right ahead. The folder holds temporary files created during the install.
