strange e-mails with patches

W

Willie

In the last 24 hours I have received messages coming
supposedly from Microsoft Corp. The messsages are
entitled:critical update, security update etc... and
include the following three programs:
g852235.exe
Patch72.exe
Patch957.exe

Does anyone know if these are real updates or just
viruses...
thanks for a reply. Searching on Microsoft's site is
pretty useless on this one.

Hi!

These are frauds...

If you check the email address of the sender you'll easily find out that
these mails are not from microsoft.
The type of description is completely funny and even if it was from
microsoft I wouldn't install them.
I don't think Email Attachments may be safe even if it was from
microsoft,( and it won't do it... )

But there is something about microsoft...

NOTICE:
The Only safe place to get files(i mean semi safe :)) ) is downloading from
a site which you trust WITH an updatd Anti Virus, up to dated Firewall and
wisely determining the program's Activities and ....

Sincerely,
MAGJ
