Storm + brown out = I shut down and unplug.

After the storm, I boot up my computer, see the Windows XP home splash
screen, screen goes black, my mouse pops up and then...

LSASS.EXE - ACCESS DENIED

A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted access
rights.

re- boot, repeat....HELP!!!

Not sure, so don`t quote me on this, but sounds like you
were hit with the Sasser virus.

hey jeff thanks for the replying

I don't think so, lsass.exe is one (of the many) critical files windows uses
to run.
I thought I saw somewhere, where one could "debug" this problem?

any suggestions.
