stop receiving emails in Outlook Express

I recently got a laptop with Windows Mail. My desktop has Outlook Express.
I have emails coming to both computers, but want to stop them from going to
Outlook Express so I don't have to maintain emails on both computers. Sorry
if this is a silly question, but I don't know how to do it.

In OE>Tools>accounts>remove.

Will that completely remove the program or just not allow emails to come
through? I have some old messages that I want to keep and access.

Don't run OE.

It only removes the accounts which will prevent any more downloading.
You can still access existing emails.
