stop receiving emails from newsgroup

I posted a question the other day in this news group with
my correct email addy, now I receive tons of emails daily
from microsoft. How do I prevent this...Bob

You did not read the instructions at beginning of the
newsgroups

support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx

actually i think they should set it up so you cann't post
with email address.

P.S. : Those emails did not come from microsoft. They are
most likely virus's.

You cant at this point, you should not use your normal email address when
posting to any public newsgroup. If possible I would recommend that you get
a new email address.
