stop messenger from signing in automatically, how?

I just got the latest version of Messenger. Besides the annoying popup I get
every time I sign in now asking me which service I want, I get signed in
automatically every time I connect to the internet. There was an option in
the old version that I could check to keep me from signing in automatically.
I cannot find it in this new version.

How can I stop this and still use Windows Messenger?

Ooops, I apologize. My webcam was signing into the old version or the
version that came with the webcam software. I am going to "remove" and
reinstall. I am sure when I get the new version on my computer the problem
will be fixed.
