Stop Error During RIS Image deployment

Hello,

I have completed imaging 79 or 80 WinXP machines using RIS with little
problems. However, I'm now on my last one and I'm receiving the following
stop error after the Client Installation Wizard Runs:

Stop 0X000000BB

I received this stop message early in the depolyment and learned that it can
be caused IP address conflicts. So Ifirst deleated the machine's IP address
in DHCP and restarted. It retained the same IP address and is still gettting
the error. I dont feel this is IP address conflict this time.

I can't find any other information concerning this stop message other than
the IP address conflicts. Does anyone here have an idea what might cause
this stop error other than IP conflicts.

Thanks
Stan

Hello Stan

I too got this error, using a realtek integrated card. Searching Google led
me to the Intel site which said to remove the NIC drivers from the i386
folder and replace with updated ones. Using ths, I checked the I386 folder
to see if there were any realtek drivers and there were not, so I just copied
from my driver disk the NIC drivers (sys, inf and cat) to the I386 folder
then stoped and started the binslvc and tftpd services and the machine
carried on into setup.

Hope this helps

Graham
