Stop balloon pop up to install xp sp2

We ran the xp sp2 blocking script from MS today. Several people had already
downloaded it and it's sitting there waiting to be installed.. Is there any
way to disable it at this point or is it too late?

It looks to me like you click the update globe->choose custom->uncheck
SP2->close->and a box pops up with a choice "do not remind me about this
update again".

Anyone know if I'm on the right track? What happens when I want it once our
vender approves it? Will I still get other hotfixes, etc?

Use SYSTEM RESTORE to restore the computer to an earlier time point, it
maybe helpful, you need to try it yourself...............
