stop autodial over network

I have a shared internet connection with 2 clients
sharing it from the host. Problem is the connection tries
to dialup about one every 5 minutes if i miss it i might
have a large phone bill. Ideally i would like it to only
dial up when i tell it to connect and not even when a
client opens internet explorer or outlook. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. P.S i have disabled a service
which is meant to stop this problem but it hasnt i think
it was remote connection manager or something like that.

If you are using internet connection sharing ensure to
disable the autodial settings - open propertiies of dialup
connection, advanced and internet connection sharing ...

Thanks but wont that stop any clients from dialling
completely.
