Hello,
I have a Windows XP Pro here at work with several dial up
connections, a PPPoE connection and two LAN connections
in the Network Connections Window. Everytime I restart
the computer or log off my profile and back into it, the
box that says "Disable autodial while I am logged on" is
unchecked and it wants to dial one of my dial up
connections several times.
Once i uncheck this box again it stops.
My question is why won't this option stay set?
I have looked on Experts Exchange and they just say to
check this box to get the autodial to stop, and also said
to check all the connections. I have gone through all my
dial up connections and the PPPoE connection and
unchecked the box that says Redial when connection is
lost, then in the Internet Options selected Never dial a
connection from the list.
But still everytime I log off, and back on it wants to
autodial. We have Norton Corporate edition installed for
our AV software and no viruses have been found.
Does anyone have any ideas?
