network connections advanced tab

I have no advanced tab under network connections to check
my autodial settings. On one system there is an advanced
tab with dial up preferences and then and autodial tab
and this computer has no advanced tab to get to the dial
up preferences. Help???

You mentioned two computers. Both XP?
Is Dial-Up Preferences... missing from the Tools menu on
the second computer?
Or is it grayed out?
If it is grayed out, check user group membership,
permissions, rights, and local security policies.
