XP shut down - blue screen with the codes in the subject line, I restarted
and pressed F12 to go into safe mode - would not go into safe mode and
another blue screen showed up with the same messageas above. Seeke tech
help. Any ideas??? Please ????

what would anyone suggest the next step be? Should I reload my XP on my
machine? Since I cannot get back into XP in safe mode or any other mode then
what should I do - get only the blue screen with the same message everytime!

0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

From MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP errors at
http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

"A system thread generated an exception which the error handler did
not catch. There are numerous individual causes for this problem,
including hardware incompatibility, a faulty device driver or system
service, or some software issues. Check Event Viewer (EventVwr.msc)
for additional information."

Parameter 1: 0xc000005
This indicates that the specific exception that occurred was a
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Parameter 2: 0x805AFF5E
This is the address where the error occurred. If the device driver,
Windows component, or application program using that address can be
identified then that would be the likely culprit.

If this culprit is a device driver then there is a technique that
should be able to identify it. Post a reply back here if you want to
pursue this in depth and I will give you the detailed instructions.

Good luck
