Stop: 0X00000005 Xp Home

Hi,
I have Compaq laptop 2100 running Xp Home. The problem is my machine won't
boot up it gets to blue screen saying "A problem has deen detected...... If
this is first u have seen this stop errpr.... Check to make sure any new
hardware or software..... If problem continue disable or remove any newly
installed hardware or software..... And last Technicial Informatio ***Stop:
0X00000051 (0X0000000D, 0X00000001, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
Begining dump pf physical memory
Physical memory dump complete
Contact your system admin"
Thtat's it and then it restart computer again. I tried to repair with XP CD
i tried chkdsk/R and FIXBOOT but it's still same problem. I did not installed
any hardware or software before start happing this stop error. Pls help any
suggestions? I checked microsoft web site there is help for this srtical but
that is for windows 2000.

Well 2000 or XP same family, mostly those articles you speak of talk about
registry corruption.
Test your RAM with memtest86 for starters, if all is OK you may want to
consider doing a fresh install with the original media that came with
the Notebook seeing how a repair failed,
