I opened page in IE and sent shortcut to desktop, still
opening printer options box. Ruled out mozilla problem.
Does this sound like a virus to you?

Well, you certainly should run a virus scan making sure your AV software is
up to date. Also check for malware, download, install and run Ad Aware:

I previously wrote in the other post but I will reiterate.
I installed SP2 and my pc just continually rebooted
itself. I went to safe mode and restored from a previous
date, so far so good. Ran adware and it only found 2 files
from trackers. My anti virus is EZ armor and it again did
not find anything. I am stumped and frustrated. Is SP2 a
good thing?

If you have SP1 and all the critical updates and are running a firewall as
you seem to be you should be fine; no compelling reason to move to SP2.
