Still need help

Terry

I am still having a problem with web pages not loading.
Not all
but some. No particular sites. MSN home page never loads
completly. Status bar says 1 item remaining. Links that I
click, some will load and some will say this page cannot
be displayed. Also some ads within a web site have the web
site have the "this page cannot be displayed". I have
followed all the instructions in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283807
I have no popup blocker, or firewall at this time. I have
disabled Norton with the same results. Another computer
on the same line, either
wireless or DSL, works fine. Both have XP home and all
settings in Internet options are the same. This is
getting worse as more and more pages are not loading. I
have checked the KB's and do not see an article for this.
I did a system restore to a date prior to the beginning
of this problem. What stupid thing am I missing?? All
help will be appriciated.

Thank you

Terry
