Stereo only Windows operating systems???

I have received the following reply from a USB Flash Drive Company:
Thank you for contacting Technical Support. I am sorry but we do not
support Traveldrives in a stereo only Windows operating systems.
I think I may be dim because I do not understand what this means –
could someone please enlighten me? – Thanks - Andrew

First - what did you ask to receive such a response?
Second - who did you ask (actual email address) and from what address
(actual email address) did the return email come from?
