Improperly or legally?

Where ever there is prosecution for profit there will be no justice served,
just self service. Today the prosecutors act much like the days of the
holey inquisition. Or should I say little has changed and little
chance of ever changing. I know this first hand and so did
Chief Justice of the US supreme court Earl Warren 1953-1969.

It was improper until the courts ruled it illegal. Now it is illegal.

And mairzey doats and dozey doats, which is about as relevant to the
point being made as your observation. And other than making points with
their boss, how do prosecutors "profit"?

LOL, relevant say you? Who the **** are you? Just a nursery rhyme babbler trying
to impress people how don't know any better.

They gain power, position, elected office, acceptance into prestigious low
practices.
A big house a membership in a prestigious country club. Did I mention money?

It's a numbers game with them. The more people they put in jail the richer they
get.
And who pays for all this?

All I was doing is making sure everyone knows about the junk that ATI
included with their video cards and the probems that will folks will have
after using Steam.

Then get ready for STEAM by VALVE!!!

To play the Valve games you MUST be connected to the internet. Why? So they
can scan your hard drive for MP3's, Warez and anything else they think they
might want to delete.

As if..
By installing their software you are agreeing to give them permission to
have full access to your computer. Whenever your computer is turned on, they
can come in and change your files with the potential of completely crippling
your system.

As if..
ATI is working hand in hand with Valve by dangling the HalfLife 2 CD like a
carrot in front of their users. If you go online to order the CD you are
urged to install the Valve Premier Pack... the insidious backdoor that
allows Valve full access to your computer.

Oooh shit a conspiracy? LOL
There is NO good reason to insist on an internet connection just to play a
game. If I don't choose UPDATE NOW then I do NOT want the program going and
downloading anything from anywhere! If I decide to play alone or in a LAN
game, DO NOT GO ONTO THE INTERNET! These bozo's think that they should be
able to run your whole computer just becaue you bought their game.

Whatever you do AVOID STEAM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

What ever you do, avoid the Internet like the plague!
Or learn what it is really doing and don't SPREAD ABSOLUTE SHIT YOU HAVE
NO UNDERSTANDING OF! Now throw me a FACT.

Typical racist bullshit that's responsible for half the crap that goes on in
the world today.

If you're going to hate folks, do it for a legitamate reason, not just
because everyone else is doing it.

Ok... maybe over dramatized but it's the truth. You can't get what they are
offering, but you CAN get this other package right now! But it requires that
you let Valve have access to your PC whenever you play any of the games.

What don't I understand? I read everything that they provide online (and it
isn't much). They haven't answered any of my emails asking about Steam.

I'm not saying that they would do any of this stuff, just that they could -
and worse - someone else with knowledge also could.

Put it this way... If you buy a new TV and they give you a free VCR with it.
Whenever you want to use this VCR you have to let the VCR manufacturer have
the keys to your house - even if you weren't going to be home (ie, using VCR
to tape a show). Does this sound fair?

It's not _fair_ but neither was 9/11. The world is not a friendly place
at the moment--get used to it.

OK.. I overhyped my original post.

I just wanted folks to be aware of what they were agreeing to when they
installed the software.
