status of read message.

Hi,

Could anybody help out in this matter.
Even though i have read all messages on the perticular
day the status is not changing to read messages.the next
when check my outlook it showing all the messages as new
mails only.what could be problem.

Hi experts,
I have a similar problem.I have a Win XP PC that claims on the log-in screen that there are a number of unread messages, this number never being less than 1. On opening Outlook (2003), and reading all unread messages, if I log off then the log-on screen says "1 unread message". Re-opening Outlook finds there are none.
Can you help me make it show the correct number please?
