My daughter has a Dell computer with Windows XP. When she turns the computer
on, it comes up with a black screen, and says there is a keyboard failure and
then asks for a password. Pressing any of the F keys has no effect, or the
control key to try to get into safe mode It allows one try at the password,
even though it says 7 tries or more, then it says shutting down and nothing
else happens I don't know much about the system because we can't get past
this screen.
