StartUp still looking for uninstalled .exe's

In the recent past I have installed and subsequently uninstalled,
Norton AV 2005 and Microsoft Antispyware (beta). However, my startup
list (under msconfig) still details (as ticked)SNDMon.exe, gcasServ.exe
and ccApp.exe as valid. They all sit under
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run. I have tried
everthing to delete these entries from the regisrty but everytime I
reboot they reappear under my msconfig/startup. There are no program
files from Symantec(Norton) or Giant(MS Antispy) left on my PC. Ive
used jv16 to delete all installed threads. Ive physically gone into
regedit and deleted the three keys but they reappear and its driving me
mad. All i can think is a file under common or shared is still lurking
and it reads it everytime it reboots. Also, which is confusing, If i
uncheck the three applications via the startup list and reboot they
reappear as checked on boot. Nothing loads as, like i say, all the
files have been uninstalled but i would like to get them out of my
startup list. Please, please I would appreciate some thoughts.
Thanks ccshell

They are defined as Services, which is why they don't appear in the
normal Run Keys. As to Symantec/Norton you'll find those Services
in the "Non Plug-and Play" category of Device Manager.
The MSA services will be found in the following Registry location:
[HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services]
(In Alphabetical Ordering)

As always take precautions manually editing the Registry. Either export
Keys/Values you intend to edit/delete or use ERunT.Exe to make a
backup of the complete Registry.
