Startup programs lost w/update

When I had microsoft anti-spyware installed I disabled some of the startup
programs. When I updated Defender it seems that those programs are no longer
visible anywhere. I was going to re-install anti-spyware, but it seems to be
gone from Microsoft.com. The startup programs don't seem to be listed in the
msconfig program either. Anyone know of registry keys I can edit to find
these "missing" startup programs and enable them again?

Thanks, Tyler

You can find the old builds of Microsoft Antispyware at filehippo.com.

Use build .701

I would try uninstalling Windows Defender and then installing .701. I've
done this on a Windows 2000 install and had no trouble.

That said,. I'm not sure that I understand what you are trying to do well
enough to know whether this approach will succeed--but it isn't hard to try.
