startup for my daughter

Dear all
My daughter got a game for Christmas. It is very hard on memory and
CPU. I want to create a separate startup for her without all the
automatic startups (WLAN, email, virusscanning, pestscanning, Office
etc etc).
How is this accomplished?
I run WinXP on an IBM Netvista.
I did try to search this group but did not find a solution - but it
must be there seomewhere.

Most games appear to take up lots or resource, but they are not as bad as
they appear.. if the game does not run well, it could be that you do not
have the minimum requirements for it..

I did Add her as a new user - but in the settings there is only access
to password, picture, but not to programs associated with this user. Do
you know how I can access this?

Login to that profile and make the changes.

Dear Bob
Thank you for your suggestions. But within the profile you can only
change the Start > Start items. WLAN etc are started up for All users.
So, rather than enabling additional programs for user, it is removing
programs from All Users (except me).
Any suggestions?
