Starting Screensaver

omnes

Hello everyone,
I am sure my question is "old" to all of you, but I am new to
"freeware", so please put up with me!
I am looking for a program that will allow me to start my screensaver
when I want, and not have to wait a certain number of minutes before it
starts.
Any suggestions ?

Thanks so much,

Just create a shortcut to the .SCR file (your screensaver file) on your
desktop and then double-click it.

Hi!
Thanks for your replies, but I'm having a problem.
I downloaded "Saver Starter" but when I click on "start screensaver"
the screensaver starts, but then clicks "off" (it starts then
disappears!). Same thing when I click a .scr file.
What am I doing wrong ?

thanks,

It's not you, is it? I useter use a "monoff" function to switch off my
monitor, but if I twitched my mouse everso slightly after clicking on it,
the monitor came back on!

Try clicking on it _very_ carefully :-Z

Are you moving your mouse? That's the idea behind screensavers... display
the screen saver 'til I either press a key or move/click my mouse.

Thanks for your help--yes, I was "dragging" my finger on the touchpad
as I clicked "on" the program for the screensaver.

Thanks again!

I use Stardust ScreenSaver control for this and selectively disabling my
