Starting next gamebox project

I just bought an Antec 900 case ( on sale for $70 :).

Anybody got advice on how to quieten this box? It is
loaded with fans, and I suspect it will be a bit noisy,
but I don't have it yet ... 3 days from NewEgg.

Zalman has a multi-fan controller which might do
the job, but then I can always just use FanMates
to do the same thing. Problem there are the 3 pin
connectors.

Are both the front fans necessary ? I think I would
like to cool any hard drives, plus move air across
the video card area. I will have a Zalman VF900 on
the card as well, but it won't work unless I can
move that air away from the card.

I also want to use an external SATA for games.
I can do that with an eSATA back panel connector,
and get a good speed boost for both cache and
game access. Or should I mount the drive in a top
bay away from the OS drive ??

Any good tricks appreciated.

Good tricks? Now what kinda tricks would you need to know when you can
print stuff like this?
Heh! So you're saying your rig can't run
Crysis ! Isn't that kind of frustrating for
you? But seriously, these guys who spend
their time hiding poop with PGP, and can't
run CRYSIS ? Why ???? That is really
sick.
So get off your penny pinching ass and
upgrade to a decent X38 mobo with an 8800gt
and join the rest of us out here who actually
know what we are doing.

So .. your rig won't run Crysis either. Seems you
guys could stop pouting and bashing me, just
because my game box is better than yours.
Heh. My engineering lab has 7 of those x38s
now. Maybe a clue :)

Sounds to me like "my dicks bigger than your dick" to me, chum. You
lookin' to tell us all just how much you THINK you know.....just how
wide awake you THINK you are? Go play with your kiddy
games...........& kiddy buddies......and as far as "encryption" goes,
you can forget it.

Now would you really want to deny me
the pleasure of hazing the Crime site?

My rig runs Crysis fine. It is running hot
is the problem. The 900 box is maybe
going to deal with that. Trick is to quieten
it at the same time. I'm sure some of you
have done that. What I'm looking for is
the correct fan layout in the box. Maybe
how to cover the Psupply in the bottom
of the box ??? That is done in the 180.
Wonder if there is a kit to do it in the
900. Surely some of you are ahead of
me in setting up the 900.
