Start up screen

Guest

Good Day,
I have a XP Pro system that boots directly to the Administration desktop
without displaying the Start up screen for users to log on. We can log off
the Administrator and the Start up screen will then display, but all someone
has to do is reboot the computer to get to everyone's data.
Could someone please let me know where the setting is to turn off the
automatic log on for Administrator.
Thanks

Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

On the Users tab, select the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

That is Log-in screen.

.... Click Start
.... Click Run
.... Type "control userpasswords2" (Without quotes)
.... Tick "Users must enter....."
.... Click OK
