start up screen and game play back

start up screen appears to have lines all over the win xp
home logo, this also happens when running games, yet
normal windows operation is not effected...? very
anoying!!

Hi Darren,

Sounds like the refresh rate is not optimal for that display resolution.
Control panel/display/settings tab/advanced/monitor, try lowering or raising
the refresh rate.
